It is hard to believe that Cayden is already 1 month old! It is so much fun to see how he changes everyday. Time is already going so fast and it is sad to see that he is almost too big for his newborn clothes.

Baby's 1st Christmas
Christmas is my favorite holiday and something I have looked forward ever since I was a little girl. In years past it was the anticipation for Santa, time with family and of course all of the good food! This year's anticipation was something totally different. Christmas this year had a total new meaning as Jimmy and I were expecting our little one. Cayden's due date was Christmas day even though we were hoping he would come a little earlier as he did. It was nice to be home and settled in with the best gift ever.

It's a....BOY!
Cayden James Conrad blessed our lives on December 20, 2010. He came into the world at 4:04 am and was 19 inches long and weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. To recap the night I started to feel mild cramps around 9 pm when Jimmy and I were going to bed. The cramps were getting stronger and seem to come closer and closer together. By 11:30 pm I called the Doctor and she said to come in. So while I was uncomfortable and walking in circles Jimmy found the time to shower and shave!!! We headed to the hospital with much anticipation and not knowing if we would be staying or coming back home. Well I was almost 7 cm when we arrived so I stayed! Everything went smoothly and Cayden came very quickly. I love him for that! He was absolutely perfect and changed our lives from the very start. What a great Christmas present God gave us.
